What Ages Does Horizons Accept for Infant Care in Orlando?

Horizons accepts infants from 6 weeks to 12 months, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at our center on N. Goldenrod Road in Orlando.

Leaving your baby with someone else is the hardest step. Our Infant Room is built to make it easier: one teacher who knows your baby, your baby’s own routine, and updates all day long.

Your Baby's Routine, Not Ours

Before your baby’s first day, we sit down with you and go through feeding times, bottles, naps, comfort habits, and anything else that helps your baby settle. Then our teachers follow that routine, so the day here feels like the day at home.

A Day in the Infant Room

Feeding on your baby's schedule
Safe sleep practices and supervised rest
Tummy time and supervised movement
Songs, sounds, and talking together
Board books and picture time
Sensory play: textures, reaching, grasping
Being held, comforted, and talked to all day

Babies Learn Through Everything

The first year builds more than most parents realize: recognizing voices, responding to their name, reaching and grabbing, rolling and crawling, babbling toward first words. Our teachers talk, sing, and respond all day long, because that is how early language and confidence grow.

You Will Know How Your Baby's Day Is Going

Every feeding, nap, and diaper change is logged in Brightwheel, along with photos and messages from Ms. Nargiza. You do not have to wait until pickup to find out how your baby did.

What Comes Next

Around the first birthday, children move up to our Toddler Care classroom: a familiar building, familiar faces, and a gradual transition.
