PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Infant Program (6 Weeks – 12 Months)

Leaving your infant with someone is a major decision. This program is built around consistency, supervision, and trust.
Infants follow individual feeding, sleeping, and care routines. Teachers support comfort, sensory development, and early communication throughout the day.
Through Brightwheel, parents receive photos, feeding logs, and sleep updates throughout the day. Not just at pickup.

Toddler Program (1 – 2 Years)

This stage is where independence begins and where parents first notice their child changing week to week. Children explore movement, communication, and routines through guided interaction.

Early Preschool (2 – 3 Years)

Language grows quickly during this stage. Children begin participating more confidently in group routines and activities.

Vocabulary building through songs, stories, and guided conversation
Hands-on activities that support problem-solving and focus
Structured transitions that build patience and routine awareness
Group participation during circle time and guided activities

Preschool Program (3 – 4 Years)

Children begin preparing for classroom structure and early academics. This program mirrors the routines and expectations of elementary classrooms so the move to kindergarten feels familiar, not overwhelming.
  • Early literacy activities including letters, sounds, and phonics
  • Basic math concepts through counting, patterns, and recognition
  • Consistent schedules that support classroom readiness

VPK Program (4 – 5 Years)

Our VPK program supports kindergarten readiness through structured lessons, early literacy, number recognition, classroom routines, and social development. Horizons is a Florida-approved VPK provider.
