What Does Preschool Include at Horizons in Orlando?

Preschool at Horizons is a full-day program for ages 3 to 4, covering early reading, early math, pre-writing, and classroom routines.

How We Teach It

Not worksheets. Three- and four-year-olds learn by doing, so the day moves between art, blocks, puzzles, storytelling, early science, music and movement, small-group work, and active play. Teachers guide each activity and keep children thinking, asking, and trying.

Meals Cooked in Our Own Kitchen

Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, halal and prepared fresh on-site. Mealtimes are also when children practice conversation and independence.

Children usually move up from our early preschool classroom.

Preschool leads into Private Pre-K for ages 4–5, a full day focused on getting ready for kindergarten.
